Silje Christoffersen works on communications and development at SVI. She was raised in northeast Oregon, lived in Norway for a year after high school, and recently graduated from Williams College with a degree in Environmental Policy. She is passionate about rural communities and landscapes, and excited to learn from and contribute to this place. Prior to working at SVI, Silje taught for a youth outdoor education and field science program, and guided whitewater rafting trips on the Snake and Lower Salmon rivers. Silje spends her free-time hiking, boating, swimming, skiing, painting, and training to archery hunt in the fall.
