Julie LaFleur grew up on her dad's farm outside of Seattle, spending time in his weathered old barn, which always appeared on the verge of collapse. Julie only remembers paradise: raising horses, driving tractors and sitting on the slanted porch eating granola with her dad. Perhaps it is no surprise that Julie and her husband chose Sun Valley, Idaho, with its iconic red barn, as the place to raise their children and to refine the artisan granola of Julie's childhood. A granola that is filled with a love of early mornings on the farm and the confidence that a well-loved barn will never fall down.
