Harry Griffith resides in Sun Valley, Idaho, and is currently executive director for Sun Valley Economic Development, a public-private partnership dedicated to improving the economic vitality and diversity of Blaine County, Idaho. Originally trained as a geologist, Mr. Griffith has worked in a variety of project and commercial roles for BP, with direct experience in 5 countries over 25 years. He has had senior leadership roles in emerging markets of Latin America, Russia, and China and led multi-million dollar projects for service station, gas field and pipeline network developments. In addition to his local leadership in economic development across the Sun Valley region, Mr. Griffith is a partner in a regional energy consulting firm focused onresidential and commercial energy efficiency improvements and lighting. In this role, he has been involved in PV solar, geothermal and biofuel project assessments and planning. Mr. Griffith is also a member of both the Sun Valley Elkhorn and Sagewillow Association Boards, and the Vice Chair of the Citizens Advisory Board on Environmental Mitigation for the Idaho National Laboratory. He is a member of the Association of Independent Petroleum Negotiators and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Griffith received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business.
